Welcome to our Workshop on CRPD

When? August 10th, 2026 at 15.00 CEST

For who? Refugees and migrants with disabilities living in Sweden, Finland or Estonia.

What you’ll learn? Your rights under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)

How? Training is delivered through filmed lectures, local workshops, and hands-on assignments, and is translated into different languages.

Where? Online on Zoom. You will receive the link in an email after signing up.

Why join? Because you deserve the confidence and practical tools to navigate integration on your own terms — and because a stronger network of support means a stronger community for everyone.

Our biweekly physical meetings are on holidays until August 21, 2026

We meet every two weeks

We meet to chat, practice our Swedish, have fika, and support each other.
Every other time we also play table tennis the last hour (at the same venue).
We also have expert speakers coming to talk about topics that are relevant for our members.

Dates and address is in the calendar below.

Vision

We want Newcomers with Disabilities to be regarded as its own group and that their needs are met during the entire inclusion process.

Mission

Increase awareness of the conditions for asylum seekers and refugees with disabilities.

We need to reshape our own perception of how we view ourselves. We have to step up and take the lead.

We empower young newcomers with disabilities in Sweden.
